Hailing from Wellington, New Zealand, So So Modern are a post-punk band whose sound features a mix of no-wave, krautrock, new-romantic, and punk influence and have been likened to acts as diverse as Devo, Kraftwerk, Boredoms, Can, Foals, and Cornelius. They have also performed and/or toured with Dirty Projectors, Gang of Four, Deerhoof, !!!, James Chance, Why?, Of Montreal, Errors and Health.

Combining thoughtful song-craft, skilled instrumentation and confronting live performances, they have received critical acclaim from The Guardian UK, NME and the likes of BBC radio hosts Steve Lamacq and Zane Lowe.

Between 2007-2010 they played over 300 shows across 17 countries, and for the very first time, they are bringing their Transpacific Tour to Taiwan for a string of performances across the country.
