Icon Girl Pistols (Japan)

Icon Girl Pistols formed in March 2008 when Shinnosuke Shirakura (vo/gt/pf) and Ken Fukuda (dr) began jamming together in the studio where they should have been working. Soon the pair had a significant collection of songs that they were performing live - either as a two-piece or with support from their invisible friends.
After touring Taiwan with Shinnosuke's other group Quizmaster in the summer, the duo returned to Tokyo only to encounter rambling welshman Christopher David O'Reilly (bass). The lineup was completed in May 2009, when long time friend and solo artist Takashi Hasegawa (gt/vo) was invited to play a one-off show with the pistols, only for everyone to realise that he was destined to be an icon girl
