新年快樂！好久不見 Super ADD要在喜氣洋洋的農曆新年為大家帶來一個好消息
此次特別跟Urban Nomad（城市游牧）合作了一個全新企劃：Neon PLAY ROOM（直翻的話就是螢光樂園）還特別邀請Mad Decent旗下的人氣團體South Rakkas Crew（US）跟去年有來城市游牧影展開幕派對表演讓所有人意猶未盡的Mop of Head DJ當特別嘉賓表演，當然還有Super ADD的最高領導Cotton Disco加上Urban Nomad最愛的DJ Marcus Aurelius陣容有史以來沒那麼堅強過！
全新企劃Neon PLAY ROOM也是第一次展開實驗，以下依依介紹...

Happy New Year kiddos! It's been a while, but Super ADD has some good news for the year of Mr. Horsey, coz this time we are teaming up with Urban Nomad for a new art party project: NEON PLAY ROOM with international DJs South Rakkas Crew (Mad Decent), George from Mop of Head and hometown superstuds Cotton Disco and Marcus Aurelius. This is gonna be a crazy fun experiment!

由Urban Nomad城市游牧與裝置創作團隊Super ADD共同推出的實驗Project: Neon PLAY ROOM。PLAY ROOM的概念是以『玩』與『群體經驗』為出發點（絕不是群交謝啦），目的是讓所有來活動的人有更進一步的共同參與經驗，身處在同一個時間空間裡，PLAY ROOM運用簡單的規則讓人跟人之間、或人跟空間能有更多連結與互動。 而此次的主題是Neon螢光（老梗但由於我們還沒有做過所以還是嘗試了一下），更老梗的是向1997年Daft Punk的經典MV 《Around the World》致敬（老派到底）！想像一下在黑管打造的螢光異度空間會有什麼好玩的行動等著你？

Urban Nomad is combining with the underground party team known as Super ADD for a new project we are calling NEON PLAY ROOM. The concept starts with the ideas of "play" and "groups" (but no thank you we are not talking about "group sex") so the goal is for everyone who comes to the same space at the same time, and by following the rules of the PLAY ROOM, to connect with others, with the space and with the music for a more meaningful interaction. Think of the Daft Punk video for "Around the World" and imagine what it would be like to be the neon zone inside the black tube. All kinds of things would be possible!

South Rakkas Crew（Mad Decent）

Mad Decent旗下的Electro-Dancehall團體South Rakkas Crew目前由製作人D Rakkas(Dennis Shaw)率領，擅長將Reggae與Dancehall元素加入舞曲中，曲風遊走於House、Trap、與Moonbahton，成軍十餘年不斷創造新種的音樂（例如Moonbahton為一種結合House與Reggaeton的混種音樂）引領大時代舞曲潮流被衛報 (The Guardian)譽為「地球上最令人興奮的電子音樂團體」。製作過的混音作品更數不清，曾為英國小天后 Lily Allen、Trip-Hop 宗師 Tricky、Pop- Punk 天團 Good Charlotte、以及Lil Jon、Fall Out Boy、M.I.A、Diplo等藝人團體的作品都在他的巧手下呈現充滿能量的新風貌。這次South Rakkas Crew展開亞州巡迴，台北站將受邀至Urban Nomad（城市游牧）與Super ADD一起打造的Neon PLAY ROOM當特別嘉賓，將演出足足90分鐘的正宗Trap/Electro/Dancehall的精彩混音。

D-Rakkas, the mastermind behind South Rakkas Crew is back! Since his last visit, he has been toting the banner of the best label in dance music, Mad Decent, all over the world: South America, Europe and now once again Asia. The music is his trademark mix of Dubstep, Moombahton, Trap and, of course Electro-Dancehall. The sounds have been honed in Jamaica, New York City, Toronto and on dance floors all over the world. The Guardian says, “SOUTH RAKKAS CREW make some of the most electrifying dance music on the planet.” Pitchfork opines, “When it comes to knowing what mashes a dance, few production outfits can match South Rakkas Crew.” D-Rakkas has produced songs for stars like Vybz Kartel, Mr. Vegas and Elephant Man. Diplo hand-picked South Rakkas for a release on Mad Decent. In live shows, they have opened for M.I.A. and other big names. Get ready to sweat! (in neon, of course!)

George (Mop of Head DJ SET）

凌晨三點，仍有將近5,000名樂迷在富士音樂祭現場捨不得離去，追隨Mop of Head帶給他們的集體狂歡，感受從頭爽到腳的生猛能量。他們超帶勁的音樂能量好比法國Justice與Daft Punk，而這屌爆了的傑作不是來自DJ，而是出自僅由貝斯、吉它、鼓及合成器組成的四人編制。聽過Mop of Head的表演，只能說「他媽的太讚了！」。Mop of Head的連續兩年榮獲富士音樂祭力邀，單曲〈Retronix Symphony〉由BBC Radio 1知名DJ Gilles Peterson欽點2011重點單曲。日本嬉哈界掌門m-flo音樂製作人Taku Takahashi跟電音之王Steve Aoki 也招認是Mop of Head小粉絲。聲稱受到Led Zeppelin、Primal Scream等音樂影響，但其實他們更想將breakbeats、dubstep、drum ‘n’ bass、house融入音樂當中。Mop of Head在表演現場製造出猶如核融合的巨大能量，真是死前必朝聖的混種派對現場！這次Mop of Head受邀至Urban Nomad跟Super ADD的Neon PLAY ROOM放歌，音樂品味超好的Keyboard兼製作人George讓我們萬分期待呀！

George is the front man and keyboard genius leading Mop of Head, who killed it! killed it! killed it! in Taipei last year at the Urban Nomad opening party. Takashi "George" Wakamatsu is also a DJ in his own right. Last year for the first ever show in Japan by DJ supergroup Dog Blood (Skrillex + Boys Noize), George took the decks as the lead-in DJ. He takes keys from breakbeats, dubstep, drum n bass, house and of course rock 'n roll from Led Zeppelin to Primal Scream, mixing it up into a wild grove of electro tinged tech-house.

Cotton disco (Super ADD)

新興裝置藝術團體Super ADD的最高領導Cotton主業是藝術創作，卻總是胡搞瞎搞，大絕招竟然是台上斷電？不管怎樣Super ADD的活動總是有異常之處，旗下活動『Super ADD裝置趴』以什麼都有可能發生聞名？平日不是在率領就是在密謀的Cotton，最近致力於紙紮創作。十分迷戀80s文化跟合成器的聲音，選曲準則爽爽帥帥浪漫跳跳為主，曲風偏好Nu-disco/Indie Dance/French Electronic/UK。

Cotton is the soft brain guiding Taipei's installation art + party promotion group known as Super ADD. Aside from making paper cutouts and planning secret party conspiracies, she is lately obsessed with synthesizer music and 80s culture in general. She will mix a selection of tunes that are bounce-around romantic and stylishly out of control, mainly from the genres of nu-disco, indie dance, French electronica and UK.

DJ Marcus Aurelius - 馬克思
Ten years is a long time to be perfecting any skill, but 2014 marks DJ Marcus Aurelius’ first decade in the DJ game. From hauling crates of records all around Asia to make people move on any type of dance floor to being technically proficient enough to be one of the hand-picked contestants in the Red Bull Thre3style competition by his peers, Aurelius has had long and illustrious DJ career so far.

Aurelius is not slowing down anytime soon.

Expect classic hip-hop, foot-stomping funk, smoothed-out soul, sweaty dancehall, head-nodding house, groovy moombahton, ticked-out trap and booty-shaking twerk sounds of the past, present and the future mixed, remixed and refixed in ways that are pleasing to even the most finicky club-goers’ ears when Aurelius is behind the decks.
