Electric Monk

Electric Monk is Brent Scheihagen, Kyle Scheihagen, and Ed Schaefer, with special guest Kyle Jeffcoat (Fugue State). Kyle and Brent have been writing songs that span a variety of genres including rock, punk, country, blues and more.

Their lyrics are about many different things, such as the whirlwind life of nightclubs, fractured lives and relationships, or the desire to do the impossible.

Both Brent and Kyle sing as well as play guitar and bass with Kyle Jeffcoat providing color on the guitar and violin as Ed Schaefer holds it all together on the drums.

Electric Monk strives first to make you feel on a visceral level with music that makes you move; clap your hands, stomp your feet, dance, however it moves you. Listen again for the lyrics and let the music move you even more deeply. This is Electric Monk.
