Jared Rust is from the depths of the Midwestern United States, where from a young age he became interested in the singing the music of the past. First, it was the psychedelic 1960's that captured his attention, then traditional American folk, bluegrass, and country-western music, and finally the colorful world of jazz. Now he has landed on this little island halfway around the world where he happened upon this crew of phenomenal musicians to help him recreate swing tunes from the roots of early jazz to the fruits of the standards.
