★某夜在台北市少見的日本爵士酒吧中相遇，認識了這位來自日本的優秀鋼琴家-工藤隆Takashi Kudo, 在當晚的jam session中，驚艷於”工藤隆Takashi San”的鋼琴功力，與掌握音符的技巧及力道，他將帶著他的duo來台舉辦一場音樂會，邀請您一同來聆賞！

Piano / 工藤隆Takashi Kudo

Takashi Kudo生於1968年5月22日。

他曾師事Katsuya Tamura(p), Edward Bedner (p), Joanne Brackeen(p), George Garzone (ts), Hal Crook (tb), Bill Davies (p), Bill Pierce (ts)和其他等等的名師。

他已錄製過許多CD專輯，與許多音樂家合作過，如：Jerry Bergonzi (ts),Christopher Hollyday (as), Dave Barraza (ts), Phil Grenadier (tp), Larry Grenadier (b), Eddie Henderson (tp), Tetsuro Kawashima (ts), Seiji Tada(as), Masato Imazu (ts), Rei Takagi (vo), Issei Igarashi (tp) 等等音樂名家。

他在Berklee音樂學院就讀時，曾獲頒1996年的“最佳全能鍵盤手”(Best All Around Keyboardist Award)和1994年的“鋼琴系主席奬”(Piano Department Chairman's Award)。而1990在日本曾得到“最出色音樂家奬”(Outstanding Musicianship Award) 和 “Uchida奬學金奬項“(Uchida Scholarship Award)。

目前Takashi住在日本的Fukuoka, 並有許多的巡迴表演，不論是以團長的身份或是重要團員的身份來演出。

“Red… Black…”是他第一張以團長身份來錄製的專輯, 加上傳奇貝斯手Larry Grenadier和Hao Records label 當家鼓手Scott Goulding 的助陣而完成的“Red … Black…”是在紐約的Sear Sound錄製， 錄音工程師為James Farber.

10歲開始打鼓。他很活躍在不同音樂類型的打法上, 不論是搖滾, 融合, 爵士和其他的類型。
目前Senji在Yamaguchi, Hiroshima, Fukuoka都有許多的演出。

Takashi Kudo was born on May 22, 1968.
He has studied with Katsuya Tamura(p), Edward Bedner (p), Joanne Brackeen(p), George Garzone (ts), Hal Crook (tb), Bill Davies (p), Bill Pierce (ts)and others.

Takashi currently lives in Fukuoka, Japan where he maintains a busy schedule performing and touring both as the leader of his own band and as a much in demand sideman.
Red... Black... marks his first recording as a leader featuring the
legendary bassist Larry Grenadier and who seems to be the house drummer for the Hao Records label, Scott Goulding. Red... Black... was recorded at Sear
Sound in NYC by legend in his own right, engineer James Farber.

Starting on drums at the age of 10.
He is active to play the drums of all genres, such as Rock, Fusion, Jazz and so on.
Recently Seiji plays many gigs in Yamaguchi, Hiroshima, Fukuoka.
