Situated on the edge of former Flora Expo grounds, and where erstwhile American G.I.s once left their imprint in the Yuanshan area, Triangle is reshaping the dance club experience in Taipei. As the younger cousin of Korner, Triangle trades on the conviction that an innovative space and underground sounds were made for each other. Housed in a black, triangular-shaped building, Triangle announces itself as the shape of sound, even before its threshold is crossed. Once inside, the Triangle credo of “▲ here is a place without limits” is evident in every physical nook and every musical note.

If Triangle is the shape, then bass is the form, at least for a night on September 27. That's when Taipei's original Drum n Bass outfit AB Koo joins forces with next-level Drum n Bass catalyst Envelope for “This [Bass] Available.”

As far back as 1995, AB Koo partnered with EDM originators Binlang Productions for a starlight party, and as recently as last year with Just One Fix for a factory-floor rave. “This [Bass] Available” marks AB Koo's third partnership, this time with Envelope, as these enthusiastic bass-junkies dip their toes into Taipei's “dance pool” waters for the first-time ever.

The bass-centric sounds of Drum n Bass, Bass Music and Trap will find nice counterparts amid the melodic expanses of House and Garage anthems at “This [Bass] Available.” Your presence on the floor would be most welcome.

對經常前往Korner的年輕族群，相信對Triangle一定不陌生。Triangle以特殊場地形狀以及音場優勢吸引大眾。黑色的建築外觀，近三角形的空間，看來限制許多！一旦身在其中，你會發現這裡傳達的是一個沒有規則與限制的概念，如同Triangle對音樂活動類型的廣角取向。

這場名為“This [Bass] Available”的party 由元老Drum n Bass推廣團體AB Koo領軍，加入新生代Drum n Bass催化單位Envelope，在9/27這晚，我們將用Triangle的新興意向佐以Bass Music沖擊聽眾的心靈。

從1995年，AB Koo和EDM的第一場活動，到近期與”強心針”的南港瓶蓋工廠的和合作，“This [Bass] Available”將是第三場以合作方式呈現的party。我們將轉化對音樂的熱忱，侵入聽眾從頭到腳的每個細胞。 除了Drum n Bass, Bass Music/Trap/House/Garage也是當天可以聽到的音樂類型。總之，我們舞池見吧！

The DJs

Em (AB Koo, Moonlight Prod., Lazy Cats) has been contributing to Taipei's dance scene in ways big and small since 1993. Em possesses a broad musical vocabulary, and back in the day delivered inspired Drum n Bass, Speed Garage and 2 Step sets for Taipei hedz. His recent organizing ventures include AB Koo's “Night of Future Past” party at recently shuttered and sorely missed Underworld, and the One Love DancingFest 2013, a massive Moonlight Prod. event at White House Resort. Em's last-Sunday-of-the-month Lazy Cats parties continue this Sunday at Sommelier Wine Expert in Xindian. At This [BASS] Available Em will drop his trademark House sound for the best way to kick off a party that we can think of.

1996年使用 Li'l Idjit 的稱號與AB Koo 合作主辦了台灣第一場Drum n Bass party（華中橋），1997年正式加入AB Koo 。

1997年開始DJ，於各大小rave party 還有知名舞廳駐場（Spin/@live＋2F/Edge/台中Underworld Club/Rock Candy1+2/墾丁Moonlight/Summer Aquarian/新竹少年監獄客座講師）..... 等等，合作過的樂手與DJ不勝枚舉＝666 ( Ger ) , 石野卓球TakkyuIshino（JP）, UNI ( JP ) , Dave Twomey ( JP ) , D 19（JP） , Osamu M （JP） , A.J.Crypt ( Rio Parade ) , Evil Nine ( UK ) , Aphrodite ( UK ) , FUNK D'VOID ( UK ) , Marco V ( UK ) , Hybrid (UK) , Howie B ( UK ) , Zimbardo (UK) , Jungle Brothers ( NY ) , Brian Mcguire ( LA ) , Sky Lab ( US ) , Tricky（UK）... 等。

2001年於U.C.L.A.進修藝術課程，2002年回台灣，2003年在華納威秀的 Bacchus Lounge 擔任音樂節目總監，2004年接受台灣英文報紙/Taipei Times專訪。

2004年底旅居北京進修電影導演/北京電影學院，後期任職於上海公關公司（www.dream-worker.com），任製作與創意部經理，參與Beyonce北京五棵松演唱會/Heineken時尚魅音（北京＋天津）DJ/中國職業冰球開幕式，也包括多場北京的藝術節（ http://www.tigertranslate.com/live ）＋服裝秀（Miss Sixty/China Fashion Week）＋車展（Porsche/Ferrari）專用DJ＋北京著名音樂節（張北音樂節）和北京法國大使館國慶日 Party 特邀DJ。

2012年3月回台灣以後，即投入台北第一家搖滾主題酒吧（ http://www.roxy.com.tw/ ）為節目企劃與製作。9月參與Moonlight白宮行館紫月派對現場紀錄導演。

2013年4月台灣年度音樂季的電子Moonlight Party 南灣的特邀DJ（ http://www.facebook.com/moonlight.tw ）。四月受柬埔寨金邊True Face club 首位特邀台灣DJ。

現今為每個月最後一個週日的Lazy Cats（ http://www.facebook.com/lazycatsmusic ）主辦人之一。

iBomb (AB Koo), who dropped his first set in 1996, was the original homegrown Drum n Bass DJ to make a mark on Taipei clubland. Typically going by the DJ name of A-Bomb, for this AB Koo/Envelope soiree he's taking the iBomb moniker a test drive. iBomb brings his remarkable mixing skills of old to new forms of musical expression nowadays. The Garage and Trap genres have informed his recent turns at Taipei decks. Longtime fans in Taipei who got their first exposure to Drum n Bass via A-Bomb's sets starting in 1996, should take this chance at This [BASS] Available, and on Triangle's soundsystem, to hear his bold, new direction.

台灣第一個本土Drum n Bass DJ A-Bomb，相信熟悉AB Koo的人一定不用多說，睽違八年後他將獻出他的回歸首秀，把Drum n Bass音樂延伸出來的Bass Music，加以融合Future Garage，Trap與其他多元化的變種音樂。

Legacy (Envelope) is a longtime contributor to the Drum n Bass scene in Taipei via his skull-crushing, floor-obliterating DJ sets, such as the one he delivered at AB Koo's “Night of Future Past” in May. Meanwhile, his residency at M Cubic allows him to spread his wings and toy with musical genres outside the Drum n Bass sandbox. With This [BASS] Available, Legacy is taking Envelope, his just-established crew, on its first foray into Taipei clubland. Having missed the chance to partner with Legacy when he previously organized under BASSNOISE, AB Koo is pleased to team up now. Legacy drops sets that get up inside your head, whilst proving irresistible to your feet.

一直以來秉持著對於Drum n Bass音樂的熱誠, 除了積極爭取參與各演出機會外, 於09年底在 The Wall 獨立企劃籌辦了第一場 "Reborn" Drum n Bass party, 藉此讓更多人了解並喜愛 Drum n Bass音樂帶來的重低音衝擊!

Trent (Envelope), who with Legacy forms the core synthesis of Envelope, guested at AB Koo's “Bloom” party at Purpo in 2003 under the Elaspica moniker. It is our great pleasure to have a renewed opportunity to have him play at an AB Koo event, not only as a DJ but also as a partner in presenting it. Trent is exceptionally well versed at using Traktor, and his effects-laden set at This [BASS] Available is not to be missed!

近期和Legacy組成Envelope派對單位，曾在2003年以Elaspica 之名在AB Koo的Bloom派對中演出。在完全數位化後，這次Trent將以Traktor的熟練技巧搭配兩台Midi controller，為Drum n Bass帶來全新樣貌。

Katrina (Acidboost, L.I.L.) brings a fluid feel packed with punch to her sets. The catch-all Bass Music term applies to her sound, but Katrina expands on it and reenergizes it every time she steps up to the decks. At This [BASS] Available, expect to hear anything from UK Bass, UK Funky, Future Garage and remixed 2 Step in Katrina's inspired set. And keep your eyes peeled and ears open for parties organized by Katrina under the Acidboost and L.I.L. names. Vital, and then some.

派對組織「ACIDBOOST」主理人，也是Melt的創辦人之一，曾經為台北舉辦過不少國外DJ的gig，目前也在信義區Myst night club ( http://www.facebook.com/mystclub ) 擔任駐場DJ。以獨到的UK Bass Music選曲品味搭配其甜美的外表，將流暢的節拍完美傳遞，聽Katrina現場表演，有如欣賞美麗的藝術品一般，值得細細品味。
