SEAN 黃長頌

Music has always been a big part of Sean Wong 黃長頌. He grew up playing the piano and singing at church and through the years, has continued to hone his skills as a singer and song-writer.

The Malaysian born singer/songwriter moved to Australia at the age of 16 and has recently graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts as a contemporary vocalist. In January 2013, he released and launched his debut self-titled bilingual (English and Mandarin) EP at Perth's Ellington Jazz Club. Drawing influences from both the East and the West, Sean's debut EP offers his stories of love and life, translated into intimate melodies and flirtatious rhythms, and brought to life by his velvety croon.

For his first gig in Taipei, Sean will be performing some original tunes and covering some of his favorite tunes, stripping his soul/pop aesthetic into an acoustic set. So come join him and his band, and enjoy a night of music, food and art at the Escape Artist.
