＊DJ Huii (Ricecake Productions), native son of Tainan, heeded DnB's call as early as '98, thereby launching his DJ career when the seminal Renegade Hardware label was at its height. Dark and deep, with an undercurrent of foreboding, the Millennium sound shaped how Huii came to hear and appreciate DnB. This rubbed off on Huii's efforts at bringing DnBass to the Tainan masses, now the Tainan massive :-)! In his own words, “Tainan has been something of a subcultural desert, where every piece of input is slow to show results, where the promotion process is extremely difficult.” The myriad challenges did nothing to reduce Huii's passion for DnB, and recent years have seen him try his own hand at creating sounds that challenge the 170bpm template. The many gigs, both big and small, that Huii has organized have provided a bedrock of experience and established him as leader of the Drum n Bass scene down South bar none. With friends Moda and Remus, the threesome founded Ricecake Production for the express promotion of DnB and related musics in the southern reaches of the island. AB Koo is honored to welcome Huii up north where his DnB sets demand to be heard!

DJ Huii，台南在地囡仔。98年接觸D'n'B後，展開了他的DJ生涯，初期因受Renegade Hardware廠牌影響，唱片箱裡滿是暗黑深邃的詭譎能量﹔Millennium期間，Huii試圖將Drum'n'Bass引進他居住的城市 - 台南， 但對當時仍是音樂沙漠的府城來說，次文化的輸入速度很慢、推廣過程極為艱難﹔如斯困境，並未削減他對D'n'B的熱情，甚至開始嘗試不同曲風、並著手於挑 戰170bpm的創作之上。以D'n'B為主體精神至今，Huii在南部舉辦了大大小小的gig，不僅獲取豐富的經驗，同時也奠造他在南國Drum'n'Bass scene中的影響力，目前與好友Moda, Remus創立了Ricecake Production，對於DnB的推廣仍不遺餘力。

＊Legacy (BASSNOISE) is freshly returned from an extended stay in London, and will drop his first set since returning at the May 24 AB Koo party. In recent years he obliterated the floor at The Wall (before Korner came into being) with his BASSNOISE parties, including the unforgettable "Reborn" event that still has people talking. He also dropped a uniquely memorable set in 2011 at I七CH, AB Koo's first return to the party circuit after a 7-year hiatus. After a period in the British capital, Legacy has made a return to Taiwanese shores. We're psyched to have this standout DnB DJ drop another set at an AB Koo event!

＊Em Lee (AB Koo/Lazy Cats) is a long-time member of AB Koo who played DnB as early as the late 1990s, and still plays it to this day! He is best remembered, however, for pioneering the Nu Skool Breakbeat sound in Taipei in the late 1990s before it went overground across the city. And he was dropping 2-Step at Rock Candy and Opium Den when no one else was in 2000. Bo selecta! Today, in addition to his trademark House sets, Em is exploring the exciting new sounds of Trap, and some Future Garage.

1996年使用 Li'l Idjit 的稱號與AB Koo 合作主辦了台灣第一場Drum and bass party（華中橋），1997年正式加入AB Koo 。

1997年開始DJ，於各大小Rave party 還有知名舞廳駐場（Spin/@live＋2F/Edge/台中Underworld Club/Rock Candy1+2/墾丁Moonlight/Summer aquarian/新竹少年監獄客座講師）..... 等等，合作過的樂手與DJ不勝枚舉＝666 ( Ger ) , 石野卓球TakkyuIshino（JP）, UNI ( JP ) , Dave Twomey ( JP ) , D 19（JP） , Osamu M （JP） , A.J.Crypt ( Rio Parade ) , Evil Nine ( UK ) , Aphrodite ( UK ) , FUNK D'VOLD ( UK ) , Marco V ( UK ) , Hybrid (UK) , Howie B ( UK ) , Zimbardo (UK) , Jungle Brother ( NY ) , Brian Mcguire ( LA ) , Sky Lab ( US ) , Tricky（UK）... 等。

2001年於U.C.L.A.進修藝術課程，2002年回台灣，2003年在華納威秀的 Bucchus Lounge 擔任音樂節目總監，2004年接受台灣英文報紙/Taipei Time專訪。

2004年底旅居北京進修電影導演/北京電影學院，後期任職於上海公關公司（www.dream-worker.com），任製作與創意部經理，參與Beyonce北京五棵松演唱會/Heineken時尚魅音（北京＋天津）DJ/中國職業冰球開幕式，也包括多場北京的藝術節（ http://www.tigertranslate.com/live ）＋服裝秀（Miss Sixty/China Fashon Week）＋車展（Porsche/Ferrari）專用DJ＋北京著名音樂節（張北音樂節）和北京法國大使館國慶日 Party 特邀DJ。

2012年3月回台灣以後，即投入台北第一家搖滾主題酒吧（ http://www.roxy.com.tw/ ）為節目企劃與製作。9月參與Moonlight白宮行館紫月派對現場紀錄導演。

2013年4月台灣年度音樂季的電子Moonlight party 南灣的特邀DJ（ http://www.facebook.com/moonlight.tw ）。四月受柬埔寨金邊True face club 首位特邀台灣DJ。

現今為每個月最後一個週日的Lazy Cats（ http://www.facebook.com/lazycatsmusic ）主辦人之一。

在09年時受到有Queen Of Dubstep之稱的英國BBC Radio 1 Mary Anne Hobbs的音樂影響，著迷起Dubstep這大不列顛帝國特有的低頻聲響，在當時Dubstep這音樂類型尚未在本地受到重視前就已在默默為它推廣至今，當前偏好UK Bass/UK Funky/Dubstep/Garage/House。

派對組織「ACIDBOOST」主理人，也是Melt的創辦人之一，曾經為台北舉辦過不少國外DJ的gig，目前也在信義區Myst night club ( http://www.facebook.com/mystclub ) 擔任駐場DJ。以獨到的UK Bass Music選曲品味搭配其甜美的外表，將流暢的節拍完美傳遞，聽Katrina現場表演，有如欣賞美麗的藝術品一般，值得細細品味。

Back in the days before Andy C, Pendulum, Dieselboy, Sub-Focus, Matrix and other titans of Drum n Bass graced Taipei decks, there were the Friday night Drum n Bass parties at UnderWorld.

It was May 2000 when the first party went down, and until 2002 those UnderWorld parties were the go-to events for anyone down with the DnB sound in Taipei. The most memorable DJ sets came courtesy of A-Bomb (AB Koo), Em (AB Koo) and Danjah (AB Koo, Jungle Mania and DooGeeMoo), but plenty of other DnB talent stepped up to the UnderWorld 1s and 2s during that period. These included Ty (Pivotal Records), Fish (Fluid Mix), FunkStar (Jungle Mania), Mooby (JungleMania), Jr Tsao and others.

It was the longest-running DnB weekly ever in Taipei, an event long associated with AB Koo. Indeed, through AB Koo's efforts, the event lasted as long as it did. For a time, AB Koo secured a semi-regular Friday night residency at those parties for DJ CEO and his crew from Washington, D.C. And later MC Kamakaze spit rhymes for two very memorable shows through AB Koo billing. Headspinna controlled the mic on numerous occasions, as well. And the first blanket exposure given to the 2-Step sound (MJ Cole, Zed Bias, Wookie, Artful Dodger et al) in any Taipei club came via A-Bomb, Danjah and Em from 2000-2002 on Friday nights at UnderWorld.

But the man who got the ball rolling in May 2000 was Jr Tsao. Even though he handed the reins over to AB Koo, the parties were his babies at first. The background image of a robot in the NIGHT of FUTURE PAST flyer was hacked from Jr Tsao's year 2000 flyer. Tribute!

As AB Koo revisits the scene of the bedlam now 13 years on at the NIGHT of FUTURE PAST one-off, we look to the future, with an eye to the past. We're returning to UnderWorld decks on a Friday night for one last throwdown, with two of the best DnB DJs in Taiwan kicking things off.

Rumor has it UnderWorld will soon close its doors for good. AB Koo could not pass up this chance to throw down some jams one last time with NIGHT of FUTURE PAST. Hoping you will do the same by catching our last-ever party at our favorite, soon-to-be-missed dive! See you there!

早在 Andy C, Pendulum, Dieselboy, Sub-Focus, Matrix及其它知名 Drum n Bass DJ 來台表演許久之前， ”地下社會”於許多的禮拜五夜晚提供 Drum n Bass 愛好者相聚的場所。

從千禧年五月在地下社會舉辦第一場 party到兩年後結束，其間有許多令人回憶的Drum n Bass DJ於其現”聲”。舉凡 A-Bomb (AB Koo), Em (AB Koo), Danjah (AB Koo, Jungle Mania & DooGeeMoo)及 Ty (Pivotal Records), Fish (Fluid-Mix), FunkStar (Jungle Mania), Mooby (Jungle Mania), 曹子杰以及其它許多不及備載的 DnB DJ們皆於此獻藝過。

但這些令人回味再三的活動如果不是有位，關鍵人物曹子傑將機會留給了 AB Koo，上述活動極有可能皆為虛無！為此，本次活動特地將當年曹子傑所舉辦活動的flyer重新混製，致上崇高敬意！

AB Koo 放眼未來，也回顧過去。今次，於相隔近十三年再次舉辦 DnB 活動，由兩位最佳Drum n Bass DJ竭開活動序幕。今次，是最後的一次以AB Koo名義在地下社會舉辦 DnB 活動。
