Ken South Rock (US&JP) , 盪在空中

It's not just the sound. It's two people from opposite sides of the world connecting like long-lost brothers. Together they explode with a unique combination of intimacy and intensity that reaches right up into any crowd. One lives in the west and one lives in the east, they meet for one reason. TO ROCK AND ROLL AROUND THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!

If you missed them last time they visited, here's your chance to make up for your mistake. Ken South Rock are touring Taiwan again in April 2013 - catch them at a venue near you.

GigGuide asked drummer Adam Amram what Ken South Rock been up to since their last visit.

We left Taiwan last September, Ken went back to Tokyo and I went back to Brooklyn.We had to wait for 6 months to play again. It was very difficult, music is our lifeline. We had to put together the paperwork for Ken's Visa which is a lengthy process. Taiwan was such a great high for us and we wanted to return as quickly as possible. The visa finally cleared in February and Ken flew to Brooklyn on March 1st with a 3 year music Visa in hand.
Since March 1st we have performed 3 shows in NYC and have a Tour kick off show on March 30th with Manic Sheep at a DIY Gallery in Bushwick that my friends just opened.
We have been practicing and writing new songs to bring a brand new set list to the awesome people of Taiwan. We've also been making a bunch of tapes, CDs, and handmade shirts and stickers to bring with us!

Here are some of our memories of our last tour in Taiwan: lost in a cab chewing Binlang(檳榔) with a cab driver who loved disco! Hanging out in Shida park (師大公園) with Stan (死蚊子), chilling with Mr.Dirty at club T.C.R.C. in Tainan. All of the Taitung indigenous musicians. Listening to the genius boy named 尊龍 (Forest). Playing Beastie Rock and meeting IndieTaiwan(音帝大地). And most of all the Underworld people left us with the most memories and joy! We can't wait to go back there!

The album will be for sale at all of our shows in Taiwan. It was recored in Nashville Tennessee at the Bomb Shelter studio, recorded and produced by Andrija Tokic engineer and producer of Alabama Shakes

We recorded and mixed in 4 days. Lets ALL ROCK TOGETHER! EXPLODE!!!
