Sit Down and Shut the Fuck up 不只是個 open mic 表演，它意義可多了。每個月第一個禮拜四都會有。品質優良的表演者表演著品質優良的歌。Open mic表演很酷，但通常都會包含兩三首非原始的翻唱歌曲。這段時間很酷啊，繞坐在營火旁跟著一起唱，我們寧願把這時間花在介紹給各位一些台灣還有本島內很棒的歌手/作曲者。每個月我們都會有很多獨唱表演者(不插電跟插電)、樂團、電子合成怪胎的組合，展示給各位他們歌曲創作的實力。是個很放鬆的氛圍，音樂很棒，且免入場費。我們想請你們做的也就是過來、聽音樂、享受、然後Sit Down and Shut the Fuck up。在這過去幾個月，當晚來的人數陸續增加了，且每個人我們都很歡迎。如果你是個音樂家，希望能夠在那晚來表演，請email Jez - [email protected]，然後我們會試著找個位置給你的! 越早連絡月有機會來表演...那當然老規定'No Coldplay'，就可以適用了，我們會接受的! 當然偶爾表演者可以直接過來，只是有時候會爆滿! 請洽Facebook了解當月將會表演的表演者。
Sit Down and Shut the Fuck up....不單單只是個簡單的 open mic 表演。

Sit Down and Shut the Fuck up is not an open mic. It's more than
that. It happens on the first Thursday of every month. It's quality
performers performing quality songs. Open mics are cool but usually
involve an unoriginal cover song or three. While this is all cool
when your your sitting around the campfire singing along, we'd rather
use this time to introduce to you some of the best singer/songwriter
performers in Taipei and the Island.
Every month we have a mix of solo artists (acoustic and electric),
bands and electro- synth geeks, all showing you their song-writing
prowess. The vibe is relaxed, the music is great and the entrance is
free. All we ask from you is to come down, listen, enjoy and Sit Down
and Shut the Fuck up.

The popularity of the night over the last few months has been growing
and growing and anyone is welcome. If your a musician wishing to play
on the night please email Jez at [email protected] and i'll try
and find a place for you! The earlier everybody gets in touch the
more chance there is to play... and of course the usual rules of 'No
Coldplay' is applicable here too as well as the bar! Of course
performers can just show up but sometimes it's too full!
