來自加拿大的Matt Chisholm和南非籍的Eben Pretorius，組成了這個電子音樂二人組，兩人對音樂根深蒂固的熱情早從很年輕的時候就開始了。
早從在家鄉時，這兩人就已經掌握對於選曲以及連續接歌的DJ技巧，而命運終於透過台灣的電音場域找到了他們來替尖峰時段的群眾表演！兩人擁有加起來超過16年的DJ經驗，他們與眾不同的Electro風格伴隨著動感的Bass穿透了舞池與DJ台！

2007初，他們開始在錄音室共同合作創造新作品，他們以名為"Too Bad It's Not Tronic"的二人團體開始了他們的DJ生涯，帶著最新的Dirty Beats和現場Mashup演出來到台灣的舞台，他們的作品是如此地獨特，永遠都能為場內的派對客帶來耳目一新的體驗！

2008的他們，在技術上大大地提升、並朝向更多不同類型的音樂類型推進，多年來他們的Banging Sets也已經在台北許多夜店廣為流傳！他們的每一次上場，都有廣大群眾興奮地又叫又跳，希望能聽到他們更多、再更多！在2009結束了"Too Bad It's Not Tronic"之後，極具天份分別來自加拿大和南非的兩人決定前往下一個努力的目標，要從他們的工作室前進至大舞台、並且將他們的電音團隊正式組織起來，取名為Genetically Modified Beats！

運用他們廣大資料庫之中的曲目、重複的節奏以及取樣音色，結合Ableton Live混音軟體和數組MIDI設備，他們能夠在現場多變的電音場域之下去創造、改造和發揮他們即興的電音表演風格！GMB在2009年一整年的表現在平面媒體或是電子媒體上都是佳評如潮！

不光滿足於現場表演，這個天才二人團體同樣用心地在工作室裏努力耕耘，他們目前正將台灣當地藝人的作品重新混音、並且在許多原作之中加入修飾，這些都將會放入他們2010備受矚目的首張專輯之中！GMB的混音、編輯和Mashups，其實已經經常混入他們的現場表演版本和一些CD合輯裡。

透過高科技的工具和專業知識，他們正將電子音樂帶到更高的境界，絕對不要錯過體驗Genetically Modified Beats Live的機會！

An Electronic Music collaboration between Canadian Matt Chisholm and South African Eben Pretorius.

Both artists have always had a deep rooted love for music, which began at a very young age. Mastering the DJ skills of track selection and set progression in their home countries, fate would eventually find them both Djing for peak time crowds throughout Taiwan's electronic music scene.

With over 16 years of combined dj experience between them. Their taste for eccentric Electro with banging bass lines, found them crossing paths on the dance floor and in the booth.

In early 2007 they began working together in the studio to create something new. That year they began Djing live as the duo "Too Bad It's Not Tronic". They brought the latest dirty beats and live mash up sets to the Taiwan scene. Their sets were unique, always giving club goers something new to grind to. 2008 found them refining their skills even further and pushing different genre boundaries. Over the years their banging sets were heard at many of Taipei's nightclubs. They had crowds jumping and wanting more every time they played.

2009 saw the end of "Too Bad It's Not Tronic". The talented Canadian, South African duo decided to move onto their next big endeavor. Bringing their studio to the stage and forming the live electronic group; Genetically Modified Beats.

Not content with just their live performances. The talented duo can also be found hard at work in their Taiwan based studio. They are currently remixing local artists and putting the finishing touches on a handfull of original tunes which are waiting to drop on their highly anticipated 2010 debut Album! On top of that, G.M.B bootleg remixes, edits and mashups can always be found littered through their live sets and mix cds.

來自於台北的中法混血女性DJ-KOLETTE，早期為女子龐克樂團"HOTPINK"成員之一，樂團出身的她後期轉向電子樂領域 ，一面在各類型派對活動中進行演出，同時也致力於個人的舞曲創作，擅長於律動性的electro，tech-house，同時也能釋放出前進感十足techno，與充滿黑色能量的break beat，帶領舞客進入自由度十足的聽覺旅程。

前Roxy Roots駐場DJ，常被誤認為愛吹倫，對於每一種牙買加音樂皆有涉獵.
從早期聽Punk開始，後來轉聽金屬音樂，直到接觸到了牙買家獨特的Dub音樂，開始深信Dub音樂也是適合跳舞，目前偏好Dub/Grime/Dubstep/Drum N' Bass

Former residential DJ at Roxy Roots. Zo enjoy a broad variety of music, from punk to dub, grime to drum&bass. Zo used to be a professional gymnast and parkour runner, until one day he fall off a building trying to do a backflip and landed on his head... After the accident, Zo became a sonic worrier, mashing Drum&Bass with Dubstep and throw them at your face!

由嘻哈和電子異變出來的Glitch-Hop DJ，玩弄Ableton Live和APC40於指尖，James Ho偏好現場及時特效與重低音的變化，將多元化的曲風以混音remix和mashup的方式呈現。在十年的DJ經歷累積下，討厭被定義的James Ho樂風非常的廣泛，混搭著Glitch-Hop，Dubstep，Hip-Hop，Drum&bass，Electro。
從小跟著黑膠長大的James在四年前開始使用Ableton Live來滿足及時特效和一次混多軌歌的慾望，不斷創新的他對任何新的技術與樂風都充滿了強大的好奇心，一種不容錯過的新DJ理念。在放歌之餘James Ho還曾參與西雅圖樂團Dino Haak Collective的第一張專輯以及大囍門布朗"用力“專輯製作，目前也同時擔任金曲獎得主大囍門布朗與舒米恩的指定DJ。

Ableton Live and APC40 magician, Jamesho focus his sets on instant multi-effects and heavy bass sound, presenting various styles in forms of mashup and remixing. In his past 10 years of DJing, James enjoy a wild variety of sounds; Glitch-Hop, Hip-Hop, Dubstep, Electro and Drum&Bass. Growing up with vinyls, James began to play with Ableton live 3 years ago to satisfy his desire on 3 tracks live mixing and instant multi-effects. His curiosity is like a cat when it comes to new music technology and genres. A fresh new way of DJing that you should not miss out! Besides playing solo as a DJ, James Ho was also involved in Seattle band Dino Haak Collective. At the moment James is also DJing for awards winning artists Brown from DaXi-Men and aboriginal singer, Suming.
