Taimaica Soundsystem 台買加環繞音效
2008年成立的台灣第一支live dub樂團Taimaica Soundsystem團員曾經高達9個人，團員皆為知名樂手，使得這個樂團在一出來就受到相當矚目，現場演出的高能量，更是每每讓台下觀眾跟著節奏搖擺狂舞。後來因為團員的變動，而進入了近兩年的冬眠期，直到去年7月才在統一阪急百貨舉辦的國際啤酒節獻上復出首演。目前成員共有5人，除了原始團員愛吹倫(bass)、陳俊安(guitar)與dj_SHORTY (DJ/samplin`/dub control)之外，還有前年加入的林昱安(drummer)以及今年加入的生力軍小歪(keyboard)，才讓台買加的陣容再次齊全。沒有vocal，台買加環繞音效呈現的是dub的最原始風貌-instrumental，藉著編曲與音樂的層次感讓內容更加豐富，現場演出更會加入許多即興橋段，讓音樂不只有單一的面貌，每次都會有不同的驚喜。他們試圖加入更多台灣的元素，打造屬於台灣特有的dub，進而建立
dub場景，也期待更多樂團的加入。

Taimaica Soundsystem was formed in 2004 by 3 dub addicts-DJ @llenblow, dj_SHORTY and producer DJ 650. This unit was just to promote dub music in Taiwan in the beginning. Meanwhile, they were trying to make tunes, their goal was to form the first live dub band in Taiwan. In the end of 2007, they finally found members, comprised by DJ @llenblow (Hang In The Air) on bass, dj_SHORTY (Heartbeat Attack) on DJ/samplin`/dub control, DJ 650 (Skaraoke) on rhythm guitar, Angus (LTK Commune/Funky Brothers) on lead guitar, Dahu on synthesizer, Jaco (Skaraoke) on saxophone, A Du (Skaraoke) on trumpet and A Goo (ex-88 Balaz) on drums. Their first show was Freak Out Beast Festival at Shida Park, it was an amazing show that impressed all the participators. And then countless gigs was waiting for them.

Keyboardist Ben Ben (ex-Freckles) joined the lineup in May, 2008, it was the period that got most members. After East Coast Music Festival, Dahu departed from the band. In September, Jaco left after joining the army. And then after the gig at Riverside on January 1st, 2009, A Du departed as well. They were keeping on playing shows with 6 members. After Jump Music Festival, A Goo left the band, Taimaica Soundsystem was forced to take a long break. In the end of 2010, Lin Yu An (ex-88 Balaz) joined the band, and they started making new songs. They finally played a show with new lineup @ The International Beer Festival at Uni-Hankyu Department Store. After Daniel Pearl Day of Music at Huashan Grassland, DJ 650 left the band, in the mean time, new keyboardist Xiao Yai joined the lineup, and played the first show at 420 6th Anniversary @ Pipe on 2012/4/20, shared the same stage with reggae acts from Japan-Likkle Mai, Direct Impact and R Tone. The story of Formosa Jah Jah Soundz continues.

Otaku3 三宅一生
在台買加環繞音效之後成立的第二個live dub樂團，之前團員們集體住在墾丁的最南端露營點，過著簡約的生活，將reggae與大地結合的的精神完全實踐，對於這片土地的關懷不言而喻，他們的音樂也在這段期間突飛猛進。雖然目前成員們四散在不同的地方，但是對於音樂的執著與熱情一直都在，也讓他們始終保持在最佳的狀態。除了完整的音樂結構以外，還加上了主唱JJ的原住民好歌喉，著實令人印象深刻。現場演出氣勢驚人，只要看過一次保證難忘。除了創作之外，他們還改編了一些台灣傳統歌謠，讓這些老調有著全新的面貌，也更加貼近這片土地。以南部為發展聚點的三宅一生，當然不會忘了北部的樂迷們，他們很難得來台北表演，錯過一次，又不知道要等到什麼時候了，所以，一起來感受他們的現場熱鬧氣氛吧。

Otaku3 is the second live dub band since Taimaica Soundsystem, they used to move to Kenting to make music and live a simple life together. They connected this land with their music, real reggae fighters in Taiwan. Their music improved a lot during this period, they`ve already surpassed Taimaica Soundsystem as the NO.1 dub band. Their music has completed structures, with good voice from vocalist-JJ, really an impressed band, once you see them, you will feel their enthusiasm for music and love them. They now settle down in south of Taiwan, but they will never forget all the fans in Taipei. This is another rare opportunity to see them
in Taipei, so, don`t miss it.

DJ Point
無用兄弟會最推崇的台灣DJ，人稱台灣DJ Krush的DJ Point是台灣抽象hip hop的代表人物，除了精湛的DJ技巧之外，他也有在創作，這在台灣的DJ界實屬難得。製作與混音方面也是他的強項，台灣hip hop代表樂團拷秋勤的最新專輯[發生了什麼事？]就是由他擔任製作一職，可謂全方位藝人。在今年7月的DJ Krush台灣巡演中擔任暖場DJ，讓大家再次見識到DJ Point的魔力，現場觀眾更是讚賞不已。雖然演出不多，但精心安排的每一場表演，讓他的地位始終不墜。他的set除了別人的作品之外，也會加入自己的創作，更將Serato玩到出神入化的境界，他的現場，根本就可以說是一場場精彩的DJ秀，讓DJ不只是DJ。一起來，感受，DJ Point打造的抽象意境。

DJ Point is praised by many people as Taiwan`s DJ Krush, because he is the only presentation of abstract hip hop in Taiwan. He is a skillful DJ and also makes beats, produces and remixes, really a omnipotent hip hop artist in Taiwan. The latest studio album [What`s Happening?] from Taiwan`s worldwide famous hip hop act-Kou Chou Ching was totally produced by DJ Point. I don`t think any DJs in Taiwan can do it better like him. This July, he played as a warm-up DJ for DJ Krush, brought us an impressed set, and let us witness his live magic again. DJ Point doesn`t play
shows often, but every time, he presents us the best of him, that`s why he can maintain his status always. His live includes his own works, and is proficient in Serato that also colorizes his set. Really an artist not only a DJ. Come and feel the abstract atmosphere he makes for us.

DJ Hulo (UK/Taiwan)
來自英國，去年5月受無用兄弟會之邀約參加在Revolver舉辦的World`s End Echo Party的DJ Hulo，帶著他的黑膠壓箱寶讓大家大開眼界。雖然只有短暫的停留幾天，但他卻愛上了台灣，於是選擇來台灣工作，並到處放送ska, dub, reggae, dancehall, 與dubstep，成為無用兄弟會推廣reggae音樂的另一生力軍。他的現場包含多種風格，巧妙的融合在一起，七吋黑膠更是他的利器。從經典的reggae曲目到與英國同步的dubstep都可以在他的set中聽到，更會隨現場氣氛作調整，帶來熱鬧且變化多端的演出。這次應無用兄弟會的請求，他將會呈現以七吋黑膠為主的DJ set，一起來看看他會帶來什麼壓箱寶吧！

Last May, DJ Hulo was invited by Useless Brotherhood to play at World`s End Echo Party @Revolver. He brought us lots of vinyls and made our eyes widely open. Although he just stayed for few days, he fell in love with Taiwan`s good weather, good people and developing music scene very soon. So he decided to work in Taiwan and promote reggae music together. His set contains different music styles, from ska, dub, reggae, dancehall to dubstep and skillfully mixes with those gendres , from old to new, sometimes he presents us the latest dubstep tunes from UK. This time, he is bringing more of his 7-inch treasures to play an impressed set.

LEO37 (The Blast)
來自加拿大身兼DJ/饒舌/製作/廠牌負責人/promoter的Leo37 a.k.a. Leo Shia是一位實力相當雄厚的全方位獨立hip hop藝人，發行過3張實體與2張線上專輯，數不清的合作邀約，更到過許多國家演出，資歷相當完整，加拿大知名音樂雜誌Exclaim!也對他讚賞有加。今年推出了更上一層樓的新EP Fanfare，更受邀在加拿大各大音樂祭演出。無論DJ或是饒舌，Leo37總是有非常亮眼的表現，可以很輕易的將現場氣氛炒熱。身為台灣重要的hip hop團隊The Blast的成員，LEO37能帶給你的絕對超過想像。

In 7 years of work, prairie-born LEO37 (nee Leo Shia) has managed to amass a resume that boasts accolades and accomplishments comparable to most industry veterans – and he’s done so independently. 3 solo albums, 2 digital releases, numerous studio collaborations and hundreds of performances in packed houses through 11 countries: it would appear that independence isn’t such a bad thing.

Be it as a solo performer, a producer or a turntablist, his range is deep and diverse, offering forth a smart, danceable and utterly unique soundtrack for our times.

Djust (Slot Machine Records)
由樂手轉往DJ/製作的另一個例子Djust為電子搖滾樂團Digihai與不熟的朋友派對現任吉他手，他也有個人的創作，帶來drum n`bass, drumstep與dubstep等曲風的作品。今年加入Slot Machine Records後正式投入DJ生涯。由樂手轉向DJ的artists們皆有著相當的sense，也期待著Djust會給我們帶來什麼樣的驚喜。

The other musician goes to DJ and producing, Djust is now
guitarist of Digihai and Unfamiliar Friends Party, in the meantime, he also makes solo works, from drum n`bass, drumstep to dubstep. This year he joined Slot Machine Records and starting DJing. Those musician-turned-DJs always has better sense, let`s look forward to what surprises he will bring us.
