我們早已耳聞許多Juan MacLean的傳奇事蹟，他與LCD Soundsystem的主理人 James Murphy相識多年，並以獨特的方式重新定義了極富音樂性的 house, techno, disco and post-punk等音樂種類，目前為DFA Records的主力製作人之一的他有著許多知名的單曲發表，2002年DFA的第一張單曲 “By The Time I Get to Venus” ，2008年的“Happy House”以及為Daft Punk, Air, Chromeo, VHS Or Beta等等著名音樂人的混音單曲。更別說在2010年於!K7發行石破天驚的 DJ Kicks選輯，為DJ Magazine評選為該年度第一名的混音選曲專輯。

另一位三週年派對的加碼，來自日本的DJ Kent (aka The Backwoods) 無疑是日本House/Nu Disco類型最受尊敬的製作人之一，DJ Kent 不但與世界頂尖的 DJs, 如 Carl Craig, Prince Thomas, Recloose, 及 James Murphy合作，他的“Breakthrough” 專輯更讓他享有世界級水準的音樂製作人美名。

After 3 years of cutting edge beats and overwhelmingly good vibes, Bass Kitchen has set its sights on something completely RAW. What began 3 years ago has now ready to turn into the most hyped party this town has witnessed to this date. In collaborating with Taipei's Just One Fix crew, we promise you that this party has all the ingredients to be extra saucy and utterly magical:

First is the venue: Nangang Bottle Cap Factory.
With its concrete walls covered with graffiti, the venue is truly a unique space in Taipei: a lost paradise, a splendid temple entirely devoted to the raw energy of house music, reminiscent of the warehouses where the first rave parties were held in Europe back in the late 1980s.

Then, we have invited 2 stunning DJs in order to make this night something unique and unforgettable. So put on your dancing shoes, raise the party spirit because it is our birthday wish to dance very hard with you at Taipei's rawest warehouse!

Juan Maclean - DFA / New York

Hailing from NYC, Juan MacLean is, alongside James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, a major figure of DFA Records. From his first release in 2002 “By The Time I Get to Venus”, which was the first DFA release ever, to the worldwide club anthem “Happy House” in 2008, Juan has consistently been pushing musical boundaries, introducing disco and house music to the DFA indie-rock audience. With two albums for the NY label and a stream of high-profile remixes for Daft Punk, Air, Chromeo or Matthew Dear to name a few, Juan MacLean has an established reputation as a world-class producer. His DJ skills have also been highlighted by his 2010 DJ Kicks CD, which was hailed by DJ Magazine as the No.1 mix compilation of the year. No doubt that he will be rocking the Taiwanese audience with his 2-hours long DJ set!

If that isn’t enough, we also added DJ Kent aka The Backwoods to the bill. Sailing from Japan for this celebration, Kent is one of the most respected DJs and producers in Japan’s electronic scene, applying hip-hop sampling techniques to the infinite playground of Nu-Disco and House productions. Kent’s first EP “In The Bush” was released on Bear Funk in 2001, and Theo Parrish liked it so much that he decided to remix it! In 2010 Kent went under the alias “The Backwoods”, releasing his first solo album on Chida’s Ene Records. This stunning record attracted praise from world class DJs such as Andrew Weatherall, James Murphy, Tim Sweeney and Prins Thomas. Fresh off an extended Summer tour in Europe with Chida, it’s time for DJ Kent to come out of the backwoods!
