Ken South Rock - Taiwan Tour 2012

Following a three-month tour in Japan, Kenichi Minami, singer/guitar player known as Ken South Rock came to the USA to do a self-financed tour in New York City late in 2010. A chance encounter with local rock 'n' roll drummer, Adam Amram, at Brooklyn's Goodbye Blue Monday, lead to an instant musical partnership. Their first record was released four weeks later.

"I invited him up to play for five minutes," Adam said. "We instantly learned a whole set list."

And they haven't stopped playing since. Their dedication to their music and their passion and energy on stage has caught the attention of New York City's rock scene.

Adam flew to Japan in March for month long tour only three days before the recent earthquake and ensuing disaster. The tour continued while Ken and Adam brought a much-needed musical escape to their fans, despite their friends and family requests to cut the tour short.

They are ready to bring their unique blend of Japanese and American rock to any music scene. So get ready. Like long lost brothers, these two explode with a unique combination of intimacy and intensity that captures any crowd.

It's not just the sound. It's two people from opposite sides of the world connecting like long-lost brothers. Together they explode with a unique combination of intimacy and intensity that reaches right up into any crowd. One lives in the west and one lives in the east, they meet for one reason. TO ROCK AND ROLL AROUND THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!
