繼上次420派對請來日本的Likkle Mai, Direct Impact與R Tone後
這次又邀請了兩位在日本東京相當活躍的reggae DJ-LB3與DJ Tatsuzo
搭配兩組樂團-從日本載譽歸國的盪在空中與消失一陣子的Ganjah Age
與兩個無用DJ-DJ Zo與DJ @llenblow
再次打造一場台日reggae場景cross X over的派對
希望藉著這些意義重大的活動
讓台灣的reggae場景更加活絡

LB3 (Groove Lab.)
來自日本東京涉谷的reggae DJ LB3從高中時代就開始DJ，把玩各種與reggae相關的音樂，包括ska, rocksteady, roots-reggae, dancehall, future ragga, dub以及dubstep等。除了DJ之外他還是個promoter，舉辦了許多表演與派對，包括最盛大，超過3000人參加的asasaka BLITZ。2009年開始名為Groove Laboratory的系列派對，曾經邀請過日本相當知名的reggae DJ/樂團參與，像是Zoot16, Rub-A-Dub Market, Ken2DSpecial, EKD, Kubota Takeshi與Satol F.等參與。LB3同時也是個平面設計師，所以活動傳單都不假他人之手，真是個才華洋溢的artist。

對於reggae音樂的堅持，所以他將會把他收藏的許多珍貴7吋黑膠帶來台灣，與大家分享，帶來結合各種不同style的reggae set。

LB3 started DJing when he was in high school. He plays reggae based music all round, such as ska, rocksteady, roots-reggae, dancehall, future ragga, dub and dubstep . And he organizes many shows and parties, including the biggest show "akasaka BLITZ" that gathered 3000 people. In 2009 LB3 began a party series called "Groove Laboratory". Many Japanese talented bands/DJs such as ZOOT16, Rub-A-Dub Market, Ken2DSpecial, EKD, Kubota Takeshi, Satol F.etc...have participated in these events. LB3 is also a graphic designer, so he made flyers and posters by his own, really a talented artist.

To respect reggae music`s old tradition, LB3 is bringing lots of his 7-inch vinyls collection to present a special reggae set that mixed with different styles of Jamaican music.

DJ Tatsuzo
這次跟著LB3來台灣的好朋友DJ Tatsuzo也是對reggae music深深著迷無法自拔的人，從ska之前的calypso, mento到ska, rocksteady, reggae, roots-reggae, dub, dancehall以至於reggae衍生物dubstep與ragga jungle等，從老學校到新世代一網打盡，而他踏入DJ已經有10年的歷史，為了就是推廣這些好聽有趣的島國音樂。跟LB3一樣有許多收藏，他也將一併帶來台灣，拓展大家對於reggae的視野，可別錯過！

He loves Jamaican music, from calypso, mento, ska, rocksteady, reggae, roots-reggae, dub, dancehall, dubstep to ragga Jungle, from old styles to new grooves. DJ Tatsuzo started his DJ career about 10 years ago in order to promote these good and wicked music. He will broaden audiences` perspectives on Jamaican music through his wide-ranging selection and DJ playing!! Don’t miss it!!

Ganjah Age 甘蔗年代
去年10月鼓手出國後就幾乎沒在表演的台灣第三個現場dub團Ganjah Age，去年在少了鼓手的狀況之下參加了第一屆雷誕節，之後又好像人間蒸發了，團員都有各自的發展，但不干寂寞的3位核心團員一群(電腦)、維成(合成器)與謝青翰(取樣)在無用兄弟會強力邀約之下，決定以最早的3人團姿態參加這次的台日reggae交流活動，帶來電氣味十足，節奏強而有力的dub，雖然演出不多，但每每讓人留下深刻印象，還沒看過的人一定要來現場揭開他們的神秘面紗，除了Taimaica Soundsystem與Otaku3之外，別忘了台灣還有一個超猛dub團Ganjah Age。

Ganjah Age, the third live dub band in Taiwan after Taimaica Soundsystem and Otaku3, presents electric flavored dub with groovy beatz. In the beginning, this band was comprised by Yichiun on laptop, Weichuang on synthesizer and Cheer on samplin`. Later they found 2 members who plays with live instruments, Po Han on drums and Remi on bass. But soon after some gigs, Po Han went to Australia. Still they played a show without drummer at IRIE RASTAMAS VOL. 1 which was also presented by Useless Brotherhood last X`mas. After that, they were seemed disappear again, but they still decided to participate in this event with the 3 original members . They are a mystical band because not too many people have ever seen their live, but they were impressed by those minor people. Really a talented dub band, if you see their shows, you will know what I mean.

Hang In The Air 盪在空中
正港台灣reggae樂團，以台語唱出許多人的心聲，結合雙吉他之間的對話與充滿正反拍groovin`的bass再加上穩健的鼓，這個台灣相當有特色的樂團不僅在本地擁有高知名度，今年3月更在日本發行了首張專輯[一大片的風景]，4月前往東京展開巡迴，受到相當的歡迎，原定的3場演出後來又加演了1場，其中在涉谷知名live house O-Nest的發片派對，更是受到熱烈迴響，一同演出的樂團皆給予極高評價，尤其是日本當紅的dub樂團あらかじめ決められた恋人たちへ首腦，同時也是撰寫盪在空中日本版側標的池永正二，更是對盪在空中讚賞有加。雖然有著語言的隔閡，但許多日本觀眾表示聽了相當感動，這也是他們音樂的特色之一，一定要聽現場才有辦法感受到樂團營造的氣氛。經過了日本live house的洗禮，盪在空中絕對不可同日而語。

Hang In The Air, the real Taiwanese style reggae band, their music combines ska, reggae and some rock. They were formed in the end of 2007. October 2010, they released their first mini album A Vast Scenery and started their uncountable gigs around Taiwan. Their music was attracted by a Japan indie label which released Touming Magazine`s album in Japan. This March, Hang In The Air published their A Vast Scenery Japan version which including 2 bonus tracks, then in April, they made their first Japan tour in Tokyo. They played 4 gigs, one of them was added by a legendary live house LOFT after their second gig. Their release party in the famous spot O-Nest in Shibuya was really amazin`, Japan people loves their music, and they were praised as Japan`s Fishmans, just one of their favorite bands. Even the gap of language exists, those Japanese participators were touched by their music. That`s one of their characters, but you have to see their live performance personally so that you will feel the particular atmosphere they made. After the first tour in Japan, they are grown up again.

DJ Zo
無用兄弟會當家DJ之一，同時也是Lives In Live的主催者之一的DJ Zo，這一兩年來在台灣的party場景相當活躍，一開始主攻reggae，但其實他很靈活的把玩各種曲風，從hip hop, funk, drum n`bass到dubstep都有，目前以drum n`bass與dubstep為主，我相信在許多場子都可以看到他的身影。這次的台日reggae交流，Zo將帶來結合許久沒放的dub與dubstep的set。

One of Useless Brotherhood DJs, DJ Zo is quite active in party scene now. He used to be the resident DJ of Roxy Roots, the one and only reggae bar in Taiwan, where he played lots of reggae music. Actually, he can play different genders of music, such as hip hop, funk, drum n`bass and dubstep. Recently, he aims at drum n`bass and dubstep. You can see him everywhere in Taipei. This time, he is bringing a set with his long-time-no-see dub and dubstep.

無用兄弟會大頭目，同時也是在台灣推廣reggae不遺餘力的角色，貪心的他還是盪在空中與Taimaica Soundsystem的當家bass手、音樂文字寫手，當DJ也有多年經驗，把玩各式reggae的style，從早期的ska, reggae, roots-dub, dancehall, dub-techno到後來的歐陸電dub與dubstep，每種style都可以有完整的set呈現。這次將與DJ Zo一樣帶來結合dub與dubstep的set。

The crazy bassist from the first Taiwan live dub band Taimaica Soundsystem and ska/reggae/rock act Hang In The Air. Before Taimaica Soundsystem played live, they were a DJ group comprised by DJ @llenblow, dj_SHORTY and DJ 650 to promote reggae music in Taiwan, especially in ska and dub. DJ @llenblow started his DJ career from Campo Creative Market in Ximen Cinema Park, and has been rollin` in uncountable gigs and parties includin` Spring Scream, Freak Out Beast Festival, East Coast Music Festival and live houses/clubs such as The Wall, VT, Roxy Roots, PS Underground, PS Cafe, Revolver, Velvet Underground, Nanhai Gallery, 89K (Taichung), Fusion (Tainan), Cammi (Hsinchu) and so on. Whatever Jamaican music styles, like rocksteady, ska, reggae, dub, and dancehall/reggaeton has his full set to present. Recent years, DJ @llenblow started focusin` on dubstep from UK, those dub-sampled tunes are his favorites. DJ @llenblow is not a skilled DJ, but his selections will never let you down. DJ @llenblow is also CEO of Useless Brotherhood, a group of music promoter especially in reggae, hip hop and dubstep. They hold parties often, and have been holdin` in locations such as Velvet Underground, Nanhai Gallery, Roxy Roots, Revolver, Village Cafe (Intl Art Village), Taipeier Cafe, 89K (Taichung), South Station (Tainan), Brickyard (Kaohsiung) and Pipe. This time, he is playing a set that combines dub and dubstep.
