這次無用兄弟會前所未有的請到了日本雷鬼重量級歌姬Likkle Mai參與我們的420六週年派對，曾經擔任日本知名dub團Dry & Heavy的主唱，還跟著賞識他們的Asian Dub Foundation共同巡迴，2005年離團之後，積極的朝solo artist發展，總共發行過三張專輯，參與過數不清的合輯，目前他正在準備最新一張dub混音專輯，而她即將帶著這張專輯與她的專屬selector，為台灣的朋友帶來Rub-A-Dub style，日本雷鬼歌姬的台灣初體驗，相信大家會讓她留下深刻的印象。

To appreciate for supports for our 420 party, this year, we have a big gift for everyone, Likkle Mai, the most reputable reggae diva in Japan, who used to be the lead vocal of Japan`s most important and world famous dub band Dry & Heavy. They`ve toured in Europe with Asian Dub Foundation. After departin` from the band, she started to be a solo artist, kept on pushin` reggae music in Japan. Likkle Mai has released 3 albums and her songs were featured in uncountable compilations. She is busy workin` on her lastest dub album. She will celebrate 420 together with Taiwan reggae addicts with her new album and selector to present you Rub-A-Dub Style. This is Likkle Mai`s first gig in Taiwan, I believe that everyone will make her impress and come back again with her band.

日本正格雷鬼鬥士Direct Impact從1993年成立到現在已經有將近20年的歷史，不斷的為了推廣他們的Direct Impact style而努力，近年在日本相當的活躍，共發行了5張專輯，許多雷鬼傳奇與藝人到日本更是指定Direct Impact擔任暖場佳賓，連Diplo領軍的Major Lazer都幫他們混了一首歌，他們的實力可見一斑。就在日本311大地震之後，他們積極投入東日本復興，還參與許多反核行動，去年5月更參加了在涉谷街頭的反核遊行，Likkle Mai也有在遊行的行列中。Jahvaneeze的純正牙買加腔toasting配上selector Mr. Steady的精湛選曲，將為台灣的朋友們呈獻原汁原味的soundsystem crew stylee，而且他們為這次的活動準備了精選的420 set，怎能有錯過的理由。

The very famous soundsystem crew and reggae fighter in Japan, Direct Impact was comprised by Jahvaneeze (deejay) and Mr. Steady (selector) and has been in reggae music for more than 20 years. They started in UK in the `90s, and they`ve been featured in the program Worldwide Rasta of BBC for twice. When they came back to Japan, they played their important role in Japan`s reggae scene, after years of cultivation, they are quite famous in Japan now. They`ve released 5 albums, and when many reggae artists or legends toured in Japan, such as Horace Andy, Ranking Joe, Trinity, Al Campbell, U Brown and Determin, they were often appointed as the warm-up band. They`ve also played shows with dub acts from UK includin` Zion Train, Iration Steppas, Aba Shanti-I, Mad Professor and Earl16. Their talent was even attracted by Major Lazer which is lead by well-known producer Diplo, and they remixed one of D.I.`s work. After 311 tsunami last year, they started a project called Live Up Japan to help the reconstructions of East North Japan. They also appeared in the anti-nuclear parade in the streets of Shibuya on May 7th last year to support those protesters with reggae music and also express their ideas for our Mother Earth. Jahvaneeze`s toastin` associates with Mr. Steady`s exquisite selections will show you what a real soundsystem crew`s gonna be. They have a special 420 set for you and me, you will never want to miss it.

R Tone
日本東北的soundsystem crew代表團體R Tone，來自於去年311海嘯受害相當嚴重的宮城縣石卷市，團員共有Straighta (owner/selector), Nobu (MC/selector), Kato a.k.a. Supa Hiro (selector), Bero Man (deejay/engineer)與Rock (manager)。首腦Straighta在1992年開始投入音樂生涯，擔任selector，並在1994年成立Thousand Base，2001年離團之後就開始在弄自己的一套soundsystem，後來終於在2008年完成了，並找了以前一起活動的夥伴們組成了R Tone，這些人在Thousand Base, G Spot Crew, Digital Wave, From Da Shack等團體中都有超過10年以上的經驗，也代表著R Tone的實力絕對不容忽視。近年來他們也開始往服飾發展，創立以reggae music發想的品牌BUD for straight & rock。日本東北海嘯之後，他們也積極投入重建工作，並在受損最嚴重的故鄉宮城縣石卷市以Rockers Town Camp之名舉行免費演出，以reggae music撫慰受災居民，2012年3月更舉辦英國知名reggae歌手Peter Hunningale的慈善義演，門票收入將全數捐出。原本就與Direct Impact熟識的R Tone，想藉著這次的420派對，來台灣演出，表達對台灣人的感謝，今年420不只好玩，還會很感人。日本加油！

R Tone is a soundsystem crew from Ishinomaki, Miyagi (Japan) and comprised by Straighta (owner/selector), Nobu (MC/selector), Kato a.k.a. Supa Hiro (selector), Bero Man (deejay/engineer)and Rock (manager). Their leader Straighta started being a selector in 1992, and formed his first soundsystem crew Thousand Base in 1994. But he left in 2001. Then in 2008, he finally has his own soundsystem, so he formed R Tone with his old friends. Members are from others famous soundsystem crew in different cities such as G Spot Crew, Digital Wave, From Da Shack. They all have been playing in Japanese reggae scene for more than 10 years. It means they are a supergroup just like Direct Impact. Recent years, they stepped their feet into clothings and established a brand called BUD for straight & rock which were inspired by reggae music. Just like others reggae artists, after 311 tsunami last year, they started joining reconstructions for North East Japan. Their hometown Ishinomaki was one of the most damaged area, so they organized Rocker Town Camp (R Tone+Rebel Creation+Tsucker) to hold free parties to cheer up residents with reggae music. This 3/16, they invited Peter Hunningale, famous reggae singer from UK, to do a charity show. They decided to come to Taiwan for our 420 party with Direct Imapct, because they want to say thank to Taiwan people for the donation of incredible amount.

Taimaica Soundsystem 台買加環繞音效
又沉寂一陣子的台灣第一個live dub團，衝著Likkle Mai與Direct Impact以及R Tone說什麼也要表演，新keyboard手的加入，對台買加會有什麼樣的化學變化呢？台買加環繞音效將帶來短小精幹的開場演出，記得早點來呀。

Taiwan`s first live dub band will certainly join this big party with Likkle Mai, Direct Impact and R Tone. Since last show in November, 2011, they will come back again with their brand new keyboardist to open for Big 420. Just wait and see for their
dub energy again.

Skaraoke
台灣ska代表團Skaraoke總是為大家帶來熱鬧又舒服的ska節奏，由爵士底的樂手們組成的這個樂團，功力當然不在話下，除了在台灣擁有廣大歌迷之外，他們也常去沖繩表演，將台灣的ska在日本發揚光大，更與沖繩的ska-punk樂團All Japan Goith合出了一張split CD-Pride of Asia，演出經驗豐富到不行，對於氣氛的掌控當然也沒話說啦，可以想見這次420會多麼熱鬧。

Taiwan`s first ska band Skaraoke is lead by Thomas (trombone) with others top musicians from jazz and rock scene. They have been rollin` pleasing ska beats for many years in Taiwan. Not only domestic, also they have played in Okinawa for several times. They released a split CD with Japan All Goith, a ska-punk band from Okinawa, named Pride of Asia. Those guys really know how to amuse audience, every time they make peole skankin` around. This 420, they will entertain those who love Nature.

High Tide
去年4/22在Revolver舉辦的Big 420五週年派對High Tide是受邀表演的樂團之一，同時也是他們首張專輯21st Century Dream的首賣會，當天的盛況真的是空前，瞬間將氣氛炒到最熱。他們的音樂由reggae中帶點搖滾，轉變到純reggae/dub/ska，也為台灣的reggae場景注入強心針。今年他們再次參加我們的Big 420派對，想必又會讓大家high到不行。他們即將在3月前往日本展開首次巡迴，在此預祝他們成功！經過日本巡迴的洗禮，想必會帶來更猛的演出，請拭目以待。

Last 420 party, we held at Revolver and High Tide was one of our performers, and it was also the launch party for their first album 21st Century Dream. It was an unforgettable night. This year, they will come back again for this big day. Their music from rock and reggae to 100% Jamaican music, it was a huge impact for Taiwan`s reggae scene. They will tour in Japan this March, really an excitin` news for Taiwan`s reggae scene. let`s celebrate for High Tide for their for Japan tour as well.

Otaku3 三宅一生
久久才來台北表演一次的dub團Otaku3為了今年420，特別又要從墾丁殺上台北，為大家獻上台灣稀有的dub之聲，集體住在墾丁修行的結果反應在音樂上，可以發現他們一次比一次進步，配上主唱JJ的原住民好歌喉，絕對是個指日可待的樂團，每次的演出也讓台下跟著節奏跳到不行，獨特的台灣味dub，就是Otaku3。

The second live dub band after Taimaica Soundsystem must be Otaku3. After their group livin` in Kenting, they have more time to make music together. As a result, their shows were more and more splendid. With vocal JJ`s nature born good voice of one of Taiwan`s aborigines, Amei, make their music more attractive. They also cover some Taiwanese traditional folk songs, real Taiwanese dub stylee. Their music contains strong grooves and will makes you sweat. This band is gonna be next big one in Taiwan, just wait and see.

DJ Point
無用兄弟會最欣賞的台灣DJ，從2007年的第一屆420派對開始，是每年必邀約演出的對象，從沒缺席過，人稱台灣DJ Krush的DJ Point是台灣少數會自己創作、混音與製作的DJ，雖然目前正忙於拷秋勤新專輯的製作，但為了一年一度的420派對，無論有多忙，他都要參加，為大家獻上充滿深度的抽象hip hop，這次他將展現將ableton玩到出神入化的過人技巧。

DJ Point, we call him Taiwan`s DJ Krush, is a hip hop DJ, beatmaker and producer, real a multi-talent. He used to be the DJ in nu metal bands. After been a solo artist, his music was goin` deeper and deeper, now he is the representation of abstract hip hop in Taiwan. He also mixed tracks from mainstream and underground, now he is busy workin` on Kou Chou Ching`s (拷秋勤)new album, and it will be out this summer. Even he is so very busy, he still doesn`t want to miss this anniversary party.

DJ Zo
曾經擔任Roxy Roots駐場DJ的Zo在去年雷誕節的演出令人印象深刻，可以說越來越有大將之風，近期主攻dubstep，420這天將為大家帶來兇悍到不行的sub bass，準備好接受"震動"了嗎?

Talented DJ from Useless Brotherhood and Lives In Live, DJ Zo used to be the resident of Roxy Roots. He plays every kind of Jamaica music, recently, he addicts to dubstep. He will prepare a full set of killa bass for this 420, are you guys ready for his VIBRATIONS?

來自無用兄弟會的dj_SHORTY是目前台灣難得的黑膠DJ，也是420派對從未缺席過的角色，從一開始的dub/reggae轉變到drum n`bass，後來開始加入scratchin`與beat jugglin`等技巧，也很喜歡diggin`的他，慢慢把他的收藏加入set中，將reggae, drum n`bass, hip hop, rock到實驗電子等各式曲風做一個完美的結合，充滿了創意與驚喜，堪稱台灣的Solid Steel，這次420他又將帶來什麼精彩的set呢？

dj_SHORTY is a rare vinyl DJ in Taiwan, and he also plays at 420 party every year from 2007. His music from dub/reggae to drum n`bass, from CD to vinyl. Recent years, He started addin` some hip hop tunes and also DJ skills such as scratchin` and beat jugglin` that makes his set more plentiful. As he is also a vinyl collector, he tried to increase more music styles into his set, so you can hear different kinds of music blended, even some mandarin songs. He also has the talent to mash-up, give old songs new looks. That`s why we said his set is like Taiwan`s Solid Steel. This 420, he`s gonna blow up your minds with his incredible set.
