Roxymoron , The Okay Cars , Floaty

Come and experience the beautifully floored venue that is Vicious Circle. It's a small but fun bar/downstairs live house, not far from Luxy (Zhongxiao Dunhua) and it also has a really beautiful floor. Not sure if that got mentioned or not already. It is quite the floor though.

Celebrating the marvelous floor by standing on it and playing various instruments are three great bands; FLOATY, OKAY CARS and ROXYMORON ! ! ! ! Three great bands who all have drummers (one of them is blind).

The show is 300NT with a free drink and starts at 7 p.m. Come for the music. Come for the drink. Come for the floor!

Roxymoron is a three-piece 外國人 band that has been making an impact on the local Taipei underground scene in the last year. We play our own brand of stoner-rock infused with danceable beats that makes for a powerful, energetic live rock show.

The Okay Cars
The Okay Cars formed after the founding members met in an all night pick-up club in the suburbs of Taipei, which in fact don't exist. There seemed to be better things to accomplish than watching lasers coagulate in the corners of dark rooms at 8am while fish mongers flopped the fish of the day across the alleys outside, so instruments met and older patterns of making stuff filled in the bland spaces.

Floaty
We're Floaty and we like to rock.
We do it raw, as in pure, honest, passionate, dirty.
We are a three-piece, with our namesake Floaty on guitar/vocals, Hi-C hitting the wicked drums, and Shufan with the mean bass.
And that's enough.
It's rock 'n roll, not rocket science.
