One night only. No Cover. Two rambling singer/songwriters.
Alberta, Canada's own prairie balladeer Scott Cook is a tirelessly traveling songwriter who brings honesty, humour, years of roads and a deep love of humanity to his songwriting and storytelling. His straight-talking tunes weave together folk, roots, blues, reggae and soul influences, accompanied by fingerpicked acoustic guitar. He has been making a full-time living at music in North America since 2007, and is currently touring Taiwan support of his third solo album, Moonlit Rambles, which Edmonton reviewer Fish Griwkowsky likened to "a conversational bottle of Jack passed around a dawn fire, everything burning just right." http://www.scottcook.net/.
Evan Spinney has been playing in Taiwan for over 4 years. Fronting bands such as Wounded Night, Gin Lane and most recently, Lady and the Tramps. His songs tell stories of fame and fortune, pain and pleasure with honest lyrics and subtle melody lines. Evan draws influences from singers such as John Prine, Springsteen, Dylan and Danko.
