Su-jer's music is like a wordless storybook. Without any lyrics, it still contains image after image, like scenes from a movie, that will pull you into the swirl of his emotions. How can we say what love means? Words may not be sincere enough, moving enough--but Su-jer's playing presents us with pictures conveyed by notes alone. What appeals to us most about instrumental music is that the same piece of music can inspire different images in the listener. Romance, happiness, humor, even grief, different people will hear different emotions in the same song. This is the alchemy of Su-jer's creations.
