Metronomy are an electronic music group formed by Joseph Mount in Totnes, Devon, England in 1999. The current band consists of Joseph Mount (composer, singer, keyboards and guitar), Anna Prior (drums and vocals), Oscar Cash (saxophone, backing vocals, guitars and keyboards) and Gbenga Adelekan (bass guitar and vocals). Their music consists of instrumental electronic music and more recently, with the release of Nights Out, vocal electronic pop music.

The Naked and Famous are a New Zealand indie rock band from Auckland. They formed in 2008 when Thom Powers and Alisa Xayalith recorded two EPs with engineer Aaron Short, a fellow student at Auckland's MAINZ music college. The EPs were subsequently released on a local independent label and Powers and Xayalith began performing live with Ben Knapp (bass) and Jordan Clark (drums).

The Jezabels are a four-piece musical group from Sydney, Australia. They formed after meeting at the University of Sydney. Their music is hard to define into one specific genre, and has been described as a blend of indie pop, indie rock, rock, and disco pop. The Jezabels themselves, somewhat jocularly, describe their genre to be "hipstensive".
