2007年初組成，同年五月發行第一張單曲【What Should I Goes to Be】。2010年四月發行第二張單曲【Cheer】。曲風深受英式搖滾影響，融合古典樂的聲響結構，音樂在暴躁狂熱與陰鬱優雅的兩種面相中反差著。
關於團名的來由，事實上就像Josh所說，Mary是英語系社會中常見的名字，代表著樂團裡這三位平凡到不行的我們。只不過，我們透過了某種方式找到了往未來前進的力量，這個方式或許就是創作與摸索。
