原名Elliot John Gleave的英倫嘻哈小將Example，2006年以混音專輯《We Didn't Invent the Remix》單挑The Rolling Stones、Lily Allen、Prince、Vashti Bunyan、Britney Spears等巨星最膾炙人口的單曲而一戰成名，得到曾獲水星音樂獎提名的饒舌詩人Mike Skinner（The Streets）青睞，延攬至廠牌The Beats發表首張創作專輯《What We Made》，讓Hip Hop Connection、Zoo Weekly等傳媒祭出滿分評價推薦。睽違三年，Example夾帶大量Electro pop元素回歸的全新專輯《Won't Go Quietly》，首發單曲〈Watch The Sun Come Up〉以優雅迷人的UK garage氣息攻上英國舞曲榜Top 3、流行榜Top19，隨後的〈Won't Go Quietly〉更上一層樓，將Calvin Harris流行暢快的Nu Disco／House舞力偷渡大半，成為Example生涯首支冠軍舞曲，獨特的說唱韻律和駕馭舞曲的驚人能耐，絕對是近年少數足以和Dizzee Rascal一較高下的英倫饒舌王子！

London rapper Example has been dominating the charts since the release of his album 'Won't Go Quietly' back in 2010 with hits such as 'Kickstarts', 'Watch The Sun Come Up' and the album title track itself all taking a spot in the Top 10. Example's latest album 'Playing In The Shadows', released on Ministry of Sound, features Example's hip hop inspired vocals mixed with electro and dubstep. The production has been handled by some of the biggest names in dance music, including Laidback Luke, Michael Woods, Faithless, Chase & Status, and Nero. The lead single 'Changed The Way You Kiss Me' gained the No. 1 spot in the UK charts and was named the "Hottest Record In The World" by BBC radio on its release.
