你也許看過這樣的音樂錄影帶：八釐米質感，復古懷舊的顆粒，還有冰冰涼涼的味道，飄散在無人的海灘中。這種關於夏末哀傷的音樂叫Chillwave，又有人稱之為「Glo-Fi」或「Hypnagogic Pop」或「Dream-Beat」，而它也正揉合了低傳真、新浪潮電子、瞪鞋、弛放、迷幻甚至嘻哈元素在裡頭，近來不但受到權威樂評網站Pitchfork炒作，連華爾街日報也大肆報導，Panda Bear、Ariel Pink、Neon Indian、Washed Out、Toro Y Moi等領導樂團，均屬於這股浪潮之中。
