Half Mile Radius (HMR) consists of 3 members: Dan Harrington (Guitar/Vocals), Big Cool (Guitar) and Brian Giles (drums). In 2009, they recorded their first EP and were listed as one of the top 5 bands on Jango Internet Radio for the week of April 13, 2009. In 2010, they began experimenting with different time signatures and arrangements, for a much more interesting, complex, and unpredictable sound. After touring Japan in December of 2010 and touring Taiwan with Tokyo’s ONC, Pororocks, and Shuhari in April of 2011, they are currently planning their first Asia Tour, with dates scheduled in Shanghai, Beijing, and Tokyo in July of 2011. Also in the summer of 2011, they are recording their first full-length CD, Triage, with a scheduled release date in September of 2011. 樂是一種工具，方便傳達我們的理念。這社會上已經有夠多自怨自艾、談情說愛的歌，但是生活中有太多不可忽視的議題值得我們去重視，所謂的弱勢、所謂的不平等，通通都是現實的一部份。如果說音樂能反映社會，那麼這一塊怎麼能不被說出來！幹不需要理由經由憤怒的吼叫，唱出這些事實。
