I'm used to have negative thinking, feeling everything far away from me, perhaps, it was just a dream. Last summer, I stayed in Wakayama for three months. I was experiencing local life, different landscapes and lots of beaches. Learning cooking, doing housework, biking, walking, noticing the scenery from the balcony, taking care of plants and toys… Become good friends with Yabe’s four little boys and concerned about Imai’s every member as well. It was completely different form my life in Taipei. Every morning when I woke up, I opened the windows and released the lonely light penetrating into the chink of every object. It shaped a piece of romance, so dull but precious.
In Wakayama, the language barrier made all their sounds like music and the only thing I left was the feeling of touch. Many times, I felt as if everything had become soundless. I kept watching you everyday until I got mad, tired, and afraid of loss. I wanted to leave, just leave. I was wondering why I repeated the same story, again and again. It cannot be truly interesting. I didn’t want to feel shamed or say sorry. And my memory seemed to become less and less important. So admit! Nobody could really change her past. As I started to recap my journey on photography since 2008, I would rather believe the photos have explained everything about the fantasy and the ecstasy at the moment when it indeed happened. An adult doesn’t and shouldn’t feel weak.
Do you believe there is no completed beam in angels’ world? A leaf jumps up on the morning dews, flying into the forest. FISHMANS hums a song unrestrainedly, as if MAGIC LOVE does exist in this world. My youth and dream is in an abstract place. My youth and dream is in a dark place. Once, a solo exhibition wholeheartedly belongs to me.
