New York native saxophonist and composer Jo Jo Ma (Joseph Marchione) has returned to Sappho for a 2-night special engagement. He brings with him a fresh and original approach to jazz that takes its influences from Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, Horace Silver, John Coltrane, etc….
"... with playful wit, deadly sharp skills and just some good soulful horn blowing. Marchione has once again proven that his music will take you to the most unexpected places...Bravo!!!"
