Bob Log is authentic Mississippi Delta blues played with a monkey paw. There's no bullshit or messing around with this music, straight up voodoo stuff that puts women into a trance and leads them to the stage where they bounce along on Bob's leg. Bob learned his style from RL Burnside, who learned it straight from Mississippi Fred McDowell, continuing a blues tradition of low-fi music and innovation. A one-man-band of excellent talent and tutelage, Bob has traveled far and wide, releasing music on Fat Possum records and wowing audiences with his music. He performs in a cannonball suit with two kick pedals, and one very sweaty helmet. He will make you dance and wave your arms, and last time, he sailed above the audience in a little blow-up boat!
