Everyone in town is talking about Roots new showcase and jam night held every Wednesday from 10pm-2am. With Taiwan's highest caliber musicians and an audience who is love Blues, Jazz, Reggae, Folk, Rock, and all other forms of underground and roots music.
The showcase is not an open mic, but rather a different host every week gathers the most professional and talented musicians to come together and jam, play solo performances and short band sets. Both local Taiwanese musicians and foreigners host and play together, to create a unique sound influenced by a world-wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
Wednesday Nights at Roots is FREE and starts at 10pm with the music lasting til about 2am.
