The Okay Cars , Louis

The Okay Cars are Lars Berry (keyboards/machines/effects) and Brad Quinn (guitar/vocals). Brad was formed from the primordial muck of Vancouver’s outer suburbs, while Lars got started in the agricultural heartland of Southwestern Ontario. Corn, mountains, great lakes, logging trucks, tobacco, The Fraser River, snow levels – it’s all mixed in. Influences include Pavement, The Fall, Sonic Youth, Soft Cell, New Order and more contemporary artists like Beach House, Bibio, The Animal Collective and almost any genre in which "synth" is a liberally applied adjective. The music is a product of years of messing about and finally having time and space to apply accumulated knowledge. We hope you enjoy it.
