The Blues Vibrations brew up a bangin' blend of funky grooves, jammin' blues, and psychedelic soul. Lanny, John, and Daz play the now sounds of yesterday and tomorrow, today! Check out this dynamic trio live and you'll dig the vibrations.

Lucky "Lanny" Lanard - guitar

Lanny is a guitar player from the U.S. who's often heard playing about town. He started out learning folk songs growing up in North Florida and has since been influenced by great players from all genres. Lanny finds the blues in all kinds of music and his MP3 player is currently alternating between Blonde on Blonde, John Lee Hooker, and deep funk instrumentals of the '60s and early '70s.

Darren Booker - drums

Darren is from Birmingham, England, and has been playing drums for many years in various bands ranging from rock, pop, jazz and blues. Since joining the Blues Vibrations a few years ago he has honed his skills and feels this current band set up is ideal for his style of playing. He plays solid, steady beats, with the ability to 'funk it up' a little whenever needed.

John Ring - bass

John, who came here from the U.S. in 1989, has been playing around Taipei for a while. He started playing the bass in junior high and has since played in everything from orchestras to jam bands to a punk rock band. He's delighted to be playing with great musicians and particularly enjoys the funky improvisational tunes the band plays.
