GigGuide.tw has always been about promoting the best in live music. That’s why I’m excited to bring you Die! Die! Die!, one of the most energetic and interesting post-punk bands from my other home, New Zealand.

Die! Die! Die! are known for their chaotic and blistering live performances which have earned them tours with Franz Ferdinand, Slint, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Wolfmother and The Blood Brothers. Seriously, don’t miss this opportunity to see them in Taipei!

Die! Die! Die! is a three-piece from Dunedin, New Zealand, formed in late 2003 and formerly signed to the infamous Flying Nun Records. Their self-titled album Die! Die! Die! was recorded in Chicago's Electrical Audio by Steve Albini and released in 2005. Since then they have toured extensively and released another four albums and five EPs.

Their sound has been described as shoegaze-tinged post-punk and reminiscent of Black Flag, Wire, Pixies, the Wipers, and Bailterspace. Their unfiltered and powerful stage show has earned them a reputation as one of the most energetic and hardest-working bands around.

This will be Die! Die! Die!'s first time playing in Taipei, Taiwan - let's make it something special!
