An Unexpected Concert- Paris Sound x Armel "Upriver"

法國鋼琴家Armel，琴聲真摯優美，他的音樂如詩一般，周慮精緻，色彩斑斕，仿彿置身電影中～

歌手Marine，歌聲溫暖，內蘊豐富情感，娓娓訴說著動人故事～

兩個人第一次想在不是法國的地方辦音樂會，台灣是第一站，對他們來說一切都是新的嘗試，不同的文化、人群、食物，但同樣保有一顆探索、開放、快樂的心。歡迎大家來認識他們，聽聽他們的音樂，特別安排一個小小的jam session，請帶著你的樂器一起來交朋友！沒有樂器的朋友們，你們的肩頭更輕了，輕快的前進音樂小禮堂來聽好聽的音樂吧：）

Armel was born in Nantes en 1984 in an artist family.
Very young, he found himsef irresistibly attracted to the piano and ever since, never stopped working.
At 21, he started the National Superior Music Conservatory of Paris that he graduated a few years later.
Since 1998, he has been performing in several bands, mainly in jazz but also in pop or ambiant music which allowed him to play in very famous concert halls like l'Olympia( Paris) the Lincoln Center ( NYC) and in many well known festivals ( Montreux, Jazz à Vienne..)
He also has written and arranged music in many albums and for the cinema.
In 2013, he founded is own group: WaterBabies( Electro-jazz)
And he is about to release in first solo album: Upriver.

Marine also grew up in Nantes in a family where music was essential.
She became a singer a few years ago. She has been singing in a folk group that she made around her brother and two friends.
They played together in different concert halls in Paris.
She also writes music and lyrics.

When she met Armel about a year ago, they soon decided to work together around jazz standards.
Above music, they share a passion for travelling.
And so, naturally, they decided to combine both of their passions.
Taïpei will be the first step of their trip.
So it will surely be very special.
