The Yellow Lighter Dogma is an eclectic jazz quintet based in Taipei, Taiwan. The YLD sound is a twist on traditional jazz instrumentation with the use of electronic effects, electronic wind instruments, and instrumental extended technique. Original arrangements and selections explore the crossing of genres between the jazz, rock, and pop idioms.

The YLD was formed in March of 2011 by USA trumpeter Adam MacBlane, who returned to the USA in 2012 living in Denver, Colorado. Now, Adam returns to Taipei for a one-time show with YLD’s original members:
