Renaissance trio

由 徐崇育 Vincent Hsu (低音提琴) /Chuck Payne (鼓組) /Oren Dashti (鋼琴) 所組成, 樂團成立的初衷為演奏當代爵士、傳統爵士, 與團員們的創作。由於三位團員均來自不同的文化背景--Oren (以色列)、Chuck (美國)、Vincent (台灣), 因此樂團融合了許多不同風格：古典、藍調、搖擺、拉丁和民族樂, 這些皆是組成的音樂元素。而更讓此三重奏獨特的原因是三位團員以互相對話的方式, 呈現對曲目獨特的詮釋, 也因此讓他們的音樂總是呈現了爵士活在當下的誠實態度與精神。

目前正積極地累積曲目和原創作品, 希望秉持一直在音樂上成長和創新的態度, 帶給喜歡爵士的朋友一個始終聽不膩的爵士三重奏！

The Renaissance Trio (Oren Dashti: piano, Vincent Hsu: bass, Chuck Payne: drums) was born with the intention of incorporating and presenting jazz standards alongside contemporary and original music.

The music presented by the trio is a mix of the members' diverse musical and cultural backgrounds and derives its roots and inspiration from a wide range of musical styles - Classical, Blues, Swing, Latin and Ethnic genres. The group's members take a collaborative approach to writing and arranging their tunes, which gives the trio its unique sound.

The group is constantly evolving and adding new original material to its repertoire. In addition to taking a fresh approach to well-known jazz standards, the trio is also dedicated to experimentation with new sounds and rhythms in its original works.
