GUIGUISUISUI & thruoutin (CHINA) , Jack Conqueroo 狼人傑克 , Black Radio Party

In May GUIGUISUISUI and thruoutin, two Beijing based one man bands, will be hopping over to Taiwan for a three city tour and bringing along a limited edition Taiwan exclusive EP where the two artists cover one another’s songs, which will be available at the shows.

The first show at Rocks will see the pair play alongside one man blues maestro Jack Conqueroo and garage rockers Black Radio Party. Get involved!

Originally from the UK, ( GUIGUISUISUI) started marking dark garage blues in the freezing cold of Changchun, Northeast China in the 2012. Since then he has put out four releases ,and toured South Korea, Japan, the U.K, Indonesia, Malaysia and around 30 cities in China. A one man band , GUIGUISUISUI sings and plays, guitar, harmonica and his custom Diddly Board skateboard guitar, while smashing out primitive rhythms with his feet on a piece of wood and a tin box, supplemented with 8-Bit gore from a circuit bent Gameboy. The result is a dark blend of blues,punk, black metal and chip tune strangeness.

 
thruoutin is the solo project of Brad Seippel.  thruoutin has been making electronic music since 2006 and has toured in the U.S. and Canada and now resides in Beijing, China.  As a live artist his sets combine heavily sampled electronic elements accented by vocals and pipa.
