Arman Torus is a songwriter and multi instrumentalist based out of Toronto. His songs are characterized by a mix of reggae, funk, soul and latin grooves topped by soulful vocals and colorful soloing and syncopation. He has been involved in serveral projects such as an electronic jazz band, Geophone, singer/songwriter Adrian Shaw, as well as his own project, the Shiznits.
He was educated as a drummer beginning in his early teens and was lucky enough to be taught by Berkeley School of music graduate John Mclaughlin. At age 19, inspired by his mentor Jimi Hendrix, he picked up the guitar and learned the guitar by writing songs. A combination of practice, performance and opportune encounters with great musicians helped develop him into a songwriting powerhouse.
In 2008, he went to Taiwan where he performed in a variety of settings both solo and as a band. Performing covers from the likes of Stevie Wonder, D'angelo, Bob Marley, James Brown and Bill Withers as well as his own songs, he was an instant hit and played some of the largest festivals in Taiwan. His songs are based on life experience as he dives into topics such as love, freedom and spiritual growth. "To write good songs you need to live the life. You can't just be in your basement. Good music comes from inspiration and inspiration comes from experiencing the world, its trials and tribulations".

DC Rapier
DC Rapier was born in a little log cabin he helped his father build in Kankakee, Illinois. Later, he whittled a guitar out of firewood and taught himself to play simple tunes. After years of professional starvation as a 'working musician', DC found his way to Taiwan where he has lived and taught English as a foreign language for 24 years. In addition to being BoPoMoFo’s (ㄅㄆㄇㄈ樂團)lead singer, sax, flute, Blues harp-player, DC also performs as a solo performer singing songs from ‘Tin-pan Alley’; the popular music of the early 20th century written by legendary American songwriters and composers such as Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer, the Gershwin Brothers, Hoagy Carmichael, Gus Kahn, Harold Arlen and Irving Berlin. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tin_Pan_Alley
