The band members are: Kenyatta on drums and lead vocals, Ray on lead guitar and vocals, San Nio on bass guitar, Hugo Bandi on guitar and vocals,and Howard Chou on piano,sax(alto)and vocals.

Abe Thompson aka Nbugu Kenyatta, a native of New Orleans Louisiana, has been playing music for over 40+ years and holds a degree in Music Education. "I have played with a host of New Orleans great musicians as well as other great musicians. My group, the Kenyatta Funksters, formerly ARRK TU and also The Kenyatta Trio have been playing in Taiwan for over 22 years at all the pubs and other venues here. The group specializes in funk, reggae, rock, blues, jazz and a variety of other music.

The Kenyatta Funksters plays a great variety of music, and have performed at various venues in Taipei and around Taiwan, namely Sappho, Roxy Roots, Parties, Weddings, etc. They will get you moving and grooving to the music.
