Idls Is a hybrid of electronic music and organic sounds which can be simply described as a singer-songwriter expressing ideas and feelings through synths, strings and human sounds.

民國74年生，淡水人
07年，曾與精靈(ex一隅之秋BASS手), Xiang(藍洞Unihipili) 共組 Either/or

無用兄弟會「Useless Brotherhood Present：420 Project」等...大小演出活動

2010年 經歷團員兵役等問題，進入無限期休團

退伍後，經過了三年的
Live sound engineering/PA, Audio Post- Production/Sound Design 的進修充電後，再度展開個人的創作表演旅程

現今，著重於母語(普通話/閩南語)的Resampling(取樣調變)
融合Foley/Ambient/Field Recording/Test Tone/Traditional Instrument
企圖呈現出有別於主流英語/外語系電子音樂場景
藉以創造出屬於未來台灣/東方世界的電子聲響

Translation
遊走於迴響鐵克諾，低音貝斯，環境音樂和實驗電子樂。Translation( Cam Scherman)的音樂像是種自我關注，不論是時間或是空間，從字面上或是形象上。
使用將人聲反轉、拉伸、模糊處理，以及將節奏本身收放等手法，並於現場即時應用迴響技巧在預先錄製的Sample和各式電子器件上。聲音仿佛被解構、重組，並在一片混響迴聲互相碰撞，而後以欲進還退的抽象節奏將所有聲音一齊推出。

At a crossroads between dub-techno, bass, ambient, and experimental electronica, Translation( Cam Scherman) 's music concerns itself, both literally and figuratively, with space and time. Vocals are transposed, stretched, and obscured. Rhythms implode and collapse on themselves. Live, he applies dub techniques to pre- existing samples and electronic experiments. Sounds are recombined and allowed to collide in a fog of reverb and echo, all the while propelled forward by propulsive yet slippery rhythms.
