Korean post-rock/hardcore band, Apollo 18, first visited Taiwan two years ago where they played two frenetic shows and won me over as a fan in the process. I am more than excited to see them return for Beastie Rock Festival this weekend.

Ken South Rock set off a tremendous buzz around the island when they came last year. Some fresh converts even made it their mission to catch every single performance. I’ve seen people get sweaty and hyper just talking about them.
