Beastie Rock Festival 2011

Boasting a 2-day line-up of over 100 bands, Beastie Rock Festival could easily have been a disaster. Nobody even knew if the organiser could handle such a large event. Thick dark clouds rolled in and were a constant and ominous presence. Noise-control police arrived early each evening, eager to shut down the rock. Bands ran overtime and the schedule was more than a bit wonky. All these things could've easily put a damper to our fun. But it seems good fortune was on our side!!

Beastie Rock turned out to be one of the most fun festivals I've been to. Great music, fun crowd and good vibes all-round. Sweeeet!

So, I've got to hand it to the promoter, Indie (yep, that's his name!), he really pulled off a mean feat. Which unfortunately for him is not all that got pulled off that night… but we won't go into that :)
